We are looking for Engineers with the following experience:

• Deploying applications on public clouds such as Amazon Web Services, Google Compute Engine, Rackspace and others

• Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)

• Expert level experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack, RunDeck and others

• Building modular packaging constructs with tools like APT, yum and ruby gems  

• Delivering software solutions in project teams that utilize agile software development methodologies

• Hands on experience with Git workflow

• Test-driven development

• Service delivery on an OpenStack platform would be a plus
  
  

Bonus points for experience with the following open infrastructure technologies:

• Docker

• CoreOS

• Platform as a Service with Cloud Foundry

This person will be responsible to:

• Work with customers to understand project goals, define requirements and scope

• Analyze inefficiencies in existing development, deployment and operational processes

• Create designs for enhanced processes and tool chain implementations

• Propose integration approach with existing services and applications

• Perform value stream analysis including; Value Stream Mapping process, Future State Mapping

• Process, Capability Analysis and Preliminary Solutioning

• Work with engineering teams to validate implementation details

Ideally, the person would possess the following skills:

• Expert level expertise in UNIX/Linux

• Experience with internet development and deployment processes (medium/large scale)

• Solid understanding of cloud architecture fundamentals
  Experience building distributed systems

• Minimum of 6+ years experience with development automation (implementation, support, diagnostics, etc.)

• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
